This cable - like this exact cable in the shots, is where it all started. It was during a phase when NOTBRAND was still not established, Whang made this and let me (the writer) try. As a non-cable roller then I was confused why a cable change affected my IEMs so significantly. But definitely I was still a novice then, so we've let a follow audiophile friend tested the cable, he was in awe. One thing let to another - and the rest is history.

Made with 22 AWG 6N Cryo OCC Copper, the strands were meticulously crafted and braided into this piece of art. Clearly from the specs alone, saying it's cryo copper makes you wonder : isn't it going to be the same as the one from Pioneer series?

And to that I answer : Not really.

​

The NotTech's main properties would be its overhauling effect on the upper-mids to treble region, where IEMs which are known for their not-so-polite treble regions (such as the MEST MK1 ) gets tamed down, giving it a smoothened-out experience. And when its not being used on said IEMs, its touch on the upper-mids and treble gives you a very relaxed presentation of elements, enhancing the immersiveness of the experience, as complemented further by its soundstage widening prowess.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, The NotTech delivers a significantly amazing experience on the subbass region, raising its shelf which allows for those notes on the lowest ends to hit and rumble like they mean it.
