Going against the grain and possibly offending some purists, the NOTBRAND Entropy incorporates two different types of strands into one final product - giving you more than the usual.
Made with both Furukawa branded 6N Cryo OCC Copper and a standard SPC, not only does the Entropy perform well sonically but as well as providing the user a very sleek and aesthetically pleasing cable, that still feels as malleable and free-flowing in the hand.
So since it's two materials, how much exactly does it offer for the sound?
The Entropy in general provides a V-shaped enhancement towards your IEMs, giving stronger yet controlled bass, as well as crispy and brighter treble.
The midrange definitely also recieves a slightly coarse but appealing texture which resembles crispyness but not to a significant extent.
And depending on your preferences, the NOTBRAND Entropy can be tuned (yes this is not a typo, tuned) to the client on one specific thing : whether you would like the presence of midbass to be there or for it to sound dry and lean.
Definitely and anomaly among the handful, but an exciting pair for the masses.
